For many years now, the German Conference of Germanists has been a joint forum for university Germanists and German teachers from all over the world. In addition to a supporting program, keynotes, plenary lectures, panels, workshops and discussion forums invite participants to engage with current developments in research and teaching in German studies.

The theme of the 25th German Congress of German Studies in Bayreuth was "Narrative". In keeping with the framework program, we developed an identity that foregrounded quotations and narratives. In doing so, we combined quotes with photos that leave the viewers open to their own interpretation.
