FAQ

Why should I hire a branding agency?

A branding agency combines an outside perspective, strategic experience and design expertise. It helps you position your brand clearly, appear consistently and base decisions on strategy rather than gut feeling.

In the long run this saves time and budget: instead of one-off measures you get a brand system that works across all channels and grows with your company.

What is the difference between branding and marketing?

Marketing makes offers visible and reaches audiences. Branding creates the foundation for why people trust a brand and recognise it in the long term.

A branding agency develops the strategic basis of a brand: positioning, values, brand personality, messaging and visual identity. Only on this foundation can marketing measures unfold their full effect and create a consistent brand perception.

I think my company needs to become more sustainable

A good starting point is an honest assessment: where does the company stand today, which topics are material, where are the biggest levers? Building on that, we develop a clear sustainability strategy that fits the business model — and communication that makes progress credibly visible without slipping into greenwashing.

Which branding agency is right for my company?

What matters is that the agency's way of working, attitude and experience match your goals. Good indicators are comparable reference projects, a structured strategic process and the chemistry in a personal conversation.

We work as a small founder-led team: direct, collaborative and fully involved in every process — from strategy to implementation.

Is an AI-generated logo enough?

An AI-generated logo can be a start — it is not a brand. Without positioning, strategy and a well-thought-out design system it remains an interchangeable mark without recognition.

We use AI deliberately as a tool, for example for imagery — the strategic and design decisions behind it remain handcrafted.

When is a rebranding worthwhile?

A rebranding is worthwhile when the brand no longer matches what the company is today or wants to be tomorrow: a new direction, new audiences, growth, succession, or an appearance that is no longer visible in the competitive field.

A careful approach that preserves existing brand equity is key — evolution instead of a fresh start at any cost.

What is a brand strategy?

A brand strategy defines what a brand stands for, who it wants to reach and how it differs from the competition.
A strong brand strategy answers the central questions: Who are we? What makes us unique? For whom are we relevant? And why should people trust us? It creates the basis for all further brand decisions — from positioning and communication to design.

What are the most common branding mistakes?

The most common mistakes: design without strategy, inconsistency across channels, decisions based on personal taste instead of the audience — and a brand that is not lived internally.

A clear brand system with guidelines prevents this: it makes decisions accountable and keeps the appearance consistent over the years.

What comes first: name, logo or strategy?

Always the strategy. Naming, tone of voice and visual identity derive from positioning, values and audiences — not the other way round.

This creates a coherent whole in which name, logo and communication tell the same story.

Why do you still need a branding agency despite AI?

AI accelerates production — but it makes no strategic decisions, knows neither your market nor your team, and takes no responsibility for the outcome. Differentiation comes from attitude, positioning and consistency.

We use AI where it adds value (such as scalable imagery with clear art direction) — while keeping the brand strategically on course.

What role do employees play in the branding process?

A central one: employees are a brand's most credible ambassadors. Involving them early brings better knowledge of customers and day-to-day reality — and creates identification with the result.

That is why workshops and employer branding modules are a fixed part of our process — the brand has to work internally just as well as externally.

We believe brands with attitude create impact.
